BIOGRAPHY
I am originally from Toronto where I grew up in the “Beach” on the shores of Lake Ontario. After living in several small cities and towns in Southern Ontario over the past 30 years, I am once again living in “TO” and enjoying both it’s familiarities and changes.
I began studying art in the early 90’s. In 1993, I moved to London where I took many classes and workshops from talented, local, regional and internationally recognized artists, developing my own style of painting.
Starting in 2001, I began teaching watercolour classes and workshops. I also worked as an art consultant for Tourism London until 2007.
When I recently moved back to Toronto I wanted to try something new and my love of both art and teaching led me to life coaching and writing. I started my coaching practice in 2009 assisting and supporting new and experienced artists to take their art to a new level.
I have also always loved to write and since 2008 have been contributing articles to the Central Ontario Art Association quarterly newsletters. In 2010, I stared blogging. First with a life coaching blog called “ReIgnite Your Life” and 2011 a blog for artists called “the Art of being Artists”.
All of this experience encompasses everything I love about art; learning, painting, teaching, writing and helping others fulfill their artistic dreams.
